Modern Relationships: What Really Makes Them Work Today?

I’d like to start a discussion about relationships in the modern world.

It feels like building meaningful connections today is both easier and more complicated than before. On one hand, there are countless ways to meet people through social media, dating apps, and online communities. On the other hand, people often seem less patient and more likely to walk away at the first sign of difficulty, always thinking there might be a better option out there.

What do you think matters more for a strong relationship today: emotional chemistry or shared values and the ability to communicate and compromise?
Have any of you had relationships that started online and later turned into something serious offline?

I’m curious to hear different perspectives and experiences.
